Welcome to Oak Tree School
Oak Tree School has one simple vision – to deliver the best education for every child that attends. We are delighted that in July 2022 we were judged by Ofsted to be Good, but super proud that we are outstanding in 3 of the 4 key areas.
We will work tirelessly to ensure that your child has the very best opportunities to progress in not only their learning but also their emotional development. We invest in the best resources to enhance the school’s learning environment and ensure that staff receive a high level of training so we are more able to help your child succeed in school and in life. We firmly believe positive relationships with the adults around them, is key to success of the children we work with.
When we first meet many of our families, they talk about feeling beaten and frustrated with previous educational challenges for their children. Families often feel like they have been torn apart by an educational placements that do not meet the needs of their child. At Oak Tree, we put every child at the forefront of our thinking. We design a personalised educational experience that will re-engage, motivate and excite our children. Our carefully considered nurturing support helps the children to grow in confidence and begin to dream big again. As a result of our interventions the wounds that families have received can begin to heal and everyone can flourish.
We have developed a high level of specialism in working with children with ASC conditions, attachment difficulties, early year’s trauma and a range of moderate learning difficulties. We have helped the most disaffected and challenging children begin to make outstanding educational and emotional progress. We do not give up on our children and will do everything we can to make education work for them. We are passionate in helping our families and will go the extra mile to ensure that they feel listened to and supported.
